We are currently searching for an EPIC Applications Analyst- PB/Claims to work with our EPIC team in Charlotte.
Essential Functions:
- Assist in the development, support and functionality of an Electronic Health Record system and supporting IT systems.
- Assists the organization in optimizing the workflow processes through building applications that are tailored to meet the clinics and administrative needs.
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of areas that also integrate with this module such as Claims/Remittance, Denials, Charge Routing, Credits, & General Ledger.
- General knowledge of revenue cycle workflows.
- Analyze and streamline billing workflows, address denials, and implement strategies to improve billing accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilizing ticket tracking tools to document workflows, testing procedures, and interactions with the requestor
- Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration of billing processes.
Qualifications:
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Healthcare IT experiences in acute care or ambulatory care settings; Working knowledge of IT applications a plus.
- Preferred but not required Epic Certification : PB/Claims
