OrthoCarolina is seeking a qualified IT Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Information Services Team.
The IT Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for testing, diagnosing, and resolving software issues while ensuring optimal functionality, performance, and integration of these applications within enterprise and healthcare environments. This role will be point of escalation for desktop image builds, troubleshooting and will directly interact with the engineering team. The position is eligible for hybrid work and expected to be in the office at least three days per week and as requested. There may be times that in-office work is required five days per week.
Essential Functions:
Application Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on Citrix-based applications, 3rd party applications and hardware.
- Develop, execute, and document test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate software behavior and system performance.
- Ensure application updates, patches, and configurations function properly before deployment.
- Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and vendors to report, track, and resolve software defects.
Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:
- Diagnose and resolve application-related issues, including performance, connectivity, and functionality problems in virtualized environments.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for applications running on Citrix Workspace and Imprivata SSO solutions.
- Investigate and resolve login failures, authentication issues, and latency problems.
Application Knowledge & Optimization:
- Maintain deep knowledge of 3rd party applications and hardware for optimal configuration and performance.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and suggest improvements for application integration. • Work closely with system administrators, clinical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure applications align with operational needs.
Skills and Abilities:
- Possess strong desktop OS (windows) troubleshooting skills and in-depth application knowledge of Citrix Workspace, Imprivata, 3rd party applications and hardware.
- The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and has experience working in virtualized environments, single sign-on
- (SSO) platforms, and medical or enterprise software ecosystems
Qualifications:
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years working in a fast passed/demanding environment
- Windows development, Application/driver testing and troubleshooting, OS deployment.
