We are currently searching for a Lead Data Coordinator to join our Revenue Cycle team in the OrthoCarolina Business Office in Charlotte.
This position is a hybrid schedule with rotating days in the office depending on department needs.
The Lead Data Coordinator enters daily insurance accounts receivable payments and adjustments into medical system. This position ensures accuracy and reports problems, patterns, and trends to supervisor. The Data Coordinator reconciles daily batch work back to EFT totals and analyzes insurance remittance to post denial codes for nonpayment.
Essential Functions:
- Assist Manager with new hire training and ongoing development for team members
- Run reports daily and delegates work to team members
- Provide day-to-day support to team, managements and other depts within the organization
- Assist with setting up Electronic Remittance Advices (ERA's) and Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT's)
- Ensure all payments and adjustments are documented accurately using the EPIC billing system
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent 10-key and data entry skills.
- Previous healthcare experience with explanation of benefits is preferred.
Must have previous insurance payment posting experience
