Orthodontic Associates is a locally owned, multiple location practice that has been part of the Oklahoma City community for over 30 years. As our next SUPERSTAR assistant, you would be committed to compassionate and professional care through the entirety of our patient's treatment.
Job Description:
- Taking clear, accurate digital pictures, x-rays, scans and impressions of patients teeth and mouth area
- Maintain the flow of the schedule and sterilization throughout the clinical area
- Maintain an accurate patient record throughout treatment
- Educate and inform patients and parents regarding treatment progress, hygiene and post care needs
- Assisting the orthodontist with patient treatment
- Preparing their workstation in the treatment area
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
- Self-motivated, team player
- Possible weekly ravel to and from OKC and Edmond offices
- Daily arrival as early as 7:00 am
- Full time position 4-5 days a week; some on-call responsibilities required on weekends
- Travel from office to office as needed
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must pass OSBI review to obtain Oklahoma dental assistant permit
- A minimum 1 year dental experience (Preferred, not required)
- Orthodontic experience not required, on the job training available
- Must possess good communication skills (verbal & written) required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.60 - $18.63 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
