Business Development Manager Position Overview:
Based in Nashville, TN
- Responsible for Sales and Sales Growth in assigned territory.
- Lead business development in assigned territory, focusing on sales of orthodontic products.
- Build and maintain relationships with orthodontists and their teams.
- Develop business plans and tactics to achieve sales targets.
- Balance retention, expansion, and new account cultivation for revenue growth.
- Conduct territory analysis and planning to meet revenue goals.
- Organize customer meetings and address their needs promptly.
- Utilize consultative sales approach to influence product adoption.
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide feedback to enhance products.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor products.
- Manage expenses and adhere to company policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in dental, orthodontic, or medical device sales.
- Demonstrated proficiency in selling, customer relationship management, and territory management.
- Ability to navigate sales processes, maintain existing relationships, and penetrate new/competitive accounts effectively.
- Skilled in driving utilization, resolving problems, and planning business and territory strategies.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and adaptability.
- High emotional intelligence.
- Strong clinical and technical knowledge, enabling confident engagement with customers.
- Professional demeanor that influences outcomes with both external and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Preferred: Dental/orthodontic sales experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 years of B2B sales experience with CRM proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to adapt to industry changes.
- Location and Compensation:
- Laptop, iPad, iPhone, and mileage reimbursement provided.
- All business expenses reimbursed.
- Competitive salary with commission, benefits, and 401K match. Total compensation varies based on factors such as experience and location.
