How you'll make a difference?

The Intern – Product Development – Biologics will evaluate biological characteristics of the Company’s biologics including but not limited to composition of proprietary synthetic/tissue products and material characterization of biological materials.

What will your duties and responsibilities be?

The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.

  • Develop engineering scale prototypes
  • Evaluate prototype performance (in vitro and/or in vivo)
  • Presentation summarizing collective results and conclusions
  • Project 2-3 months


What skills and experience will you need?

The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill and/or ability required for this position.

Education/Certifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Enrollment in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program
  • Junior or Senior level standing, or graduate student
  • 3.0 GPA


Experience, Skills, Knowledge And/or Abilities:

  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Experienced with documenting findings in a laboratory notebook
  • Working within a wet laboratory environment

The education, knowledge, skills and/or abilities listed below are preferred qualifications in addition to the minimum qualifications stated above.

Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge And/or Abilities:

  • In vitro analytical assay (i.e. ELISA)
  • Wet lab techniques
  • Microsoft Project

The anticipated base hourly rate for an employee who is located in California this position is $22 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc. The Company is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect the pay scale for an employee who works in other states or locations.
