GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES : Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies or forms. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens. Also escort patients to casting room, document all findings in patient chart, cast or splint application, cast or splint removal, remove sutures, fitting or adjusting orthopedic braces, instructing and demonstrating cast education to patients.
