Position Description:
The housekeeper will assist the staff in maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the staff with cleaning and turning over OR rooms between cases;
- Daily cleaning of the facility according to a determined schedule;
- Assist in preparation of the bio-hazardous trash pick-up;
- Trash removal to designated location;
- Attend in-service related to infection control and safety;
- Assume assigned role in emergency situations
- Other responsibilities as needed/assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred;
- Ability to effectively communicate with providers, patients and peers.
OTHER INFORMATION
- Schedules are Monday through Friday; No weekends, holidays or on-call.
37.5 hours per week. 9am-5pm
