The Clinic Assistant provides logistical and administrative assistance to staff, providers, patients, and their families.
Clinic Assistant Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Takes direction from the Medical Assistance staff and providers performing duties as assigned that are within the scope of the assistant's practice and competence.
- Facilitates the placement and rooming of patients.
- Assists provider during procedure upon request. May act as a designated chaperone upon request.
- Responsible for preparing the clinic exam rooms prior to the start of the clinic and cleaning rooms between procedures / patients.
- Responsible for stocking the exam rooms with supplies and equipment necessary to support the next morning's clinic.
