Job Title: Clinical Operations Manager

Position Overview:
The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient daily operations of clinical staff scheduling, payroll approval support, and supervision of the diagnostic imaging team and clinical staff. This role supports the Clinical Director by streamlining workflows and enhancing team productivity while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Scheduling and Coordination
Develop and manage daily and weekly employee work schedules for clinical teams to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency.
Coordinate staff coverage for planned and unplanned absences to maintain continuity of care.
Collaborate with team leads to ensure adequate staffing across all shifts.
Payroll and Timekeeping Assistance
Assist in reviewing and approving employee timecards and payroll submissions.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and labor laws.
Resolve payroll discrepancies in coordination with HR and the Clinical Director.
Supervision of Clinical and Diagnostic Imaging Teams
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical and diagnostic imaging staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and enhance workflow efficiency within clinical and imaging departments.
Provide leadership, coaching, and performance evaluations to clinical and imaging staff.
Operational Support and Improvement
Identify opportunities for process improvements and workflow optimizations within clinical operations.
Collaborate with the Clinical Director to implement best practices and standard operating procedures.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
Communication and Collaboration
Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and leadership to facilitate communication and resolve operational challenges.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure integrated patient care.
Additional Responsibilities
Participate in employee training and development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare operations or clinical management.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in scheduling systems and electronic health records (e.g., Athena EHR).
Knowledge of clinical workflows and regulatory requirements.
