Orthopaedic Associates is a fast-paced, 12-physician orthopaedic practice with four locations in Evansville and Newburgh, IN and Henderson, KY. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. We are closed on the six major holidays and employees are eligible for holiday pay and insurance after completing their first 60 days of employment. We also offer a lucrative PTO plan and 401k with a matching component.
This position would be expected to work from any of our four office locations, depending on scheduling needs, although the primary location would likely be our Newburgh office. Schedules are posted well in advance and we pay mileage for any travel between offices during a work day. Hours are generally Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 5pm with a half day each week.
Our Radiologic Technologists obtain x-ray imaging studies when needed and answer any questions the patient may have under the guidance of the physician.

- Prepare the x-ray room for the patient and obtain necessary x-rays
- Maintain the x-ray room and equipment
- Assist with minor procedures, including use of C-arm
- Maintain exam rooms and assigned pod for cleanliness and appropriate materials
- Verify physician’s surgery schedules to confirm correct imaging is obtained prior to the procedure and that films are delivered to the appropriate person or surgery location for the physician.
- Discuss findings and treatment with physician as needed
- Act as the physician liaison between patients and the doctors in regards to patient questions and concerns
- Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with company policies and procedures
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associates or bachelor’s degree and current radiology certification and state license through the ARRT required, experience in a medical office preferred. You must maintain minimum requirements for licensure.
