Operating Room Assistant

Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated Operating Room Assistant to support our surgical team by ensuring operating rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked. This vital role helps maintain a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

This role is 1.0 FTE, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. No holidays or weekends are required. Competitive salary is available.

Core Responsibilities:

• Cleans surgical suites and other areas as assigned
• Performs daily inventory to ensure clean linens and supplies are available.
• Assists OR team with turnovers and case set up.

Education / Licensure / Certification Requirements  

• CNA, MA, EMT or previous OR experience a must
• BLS within 30 days of hire

This position is located at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin (OHOW). OHOW was established in 2001 as a joint venture between a group of orthopedic surgeons and Ascension Wisconsin.
