Orthopaedic Medical Group of Tampa Bay is a fast-paced orthopaedic practice with 9 locations. We are looking for a full-time Clinic Manager to join our team in our beautiful Riverview office located inside St. Joseph's Hospital - South.

JOB SUMMARY:
- Ensures complete preparation of documentation based on OMG standards and policy.
- Interprets and implements OMG policies and procedures.
- Directs staff to facilitate flow of scheduled patients and daily activities.
- Communicates with providers regarding clinic operations to effectively coordinate patient care.
- Provides professional staff support in performing daily specialty care; monitors and directs completion of daily clinic operations.
- Demonstrates an awareness of legal aspects surrounding the provisions of patient care; ensures clinic staff functions within legal guidelines.
- Promotes proper work ethic and maintains staff compliance with policies and procedures.
- Executes direct supervision; performs staff evaluations and provides feedback to employees as required per OMG policy.
- Monitors time and attendance, ensures adherence to OMG policy. Coordinates time off request with DOO, ensuring appropriate clinic staff coverage.
- Has authority to execute employee discipline and rewards; with the exception of termination of employment. May make a recommendation concerning termination.
- Always maintains and respects patient and staff confidentiality
- Fills the role of Patient Advocate; resolves complaints at the lowest level. Refers to DOO and/or practice Administrator on any unresolved issues.
- Addresses patient and employee matters with poise and character in a private environment.
- Ensures and directs the completion of new employee and continuation training.
- Holds regular staff meetings to discuss changes and pertinent matters to the group and office.
- Attends monthly/quarterly Clinic Manager meetings.
- Manages all and any custodial, maintenance and services matters pertaining to the office. Coordinates through appropriate channels.
- Has autonomy to adjust work schedules and personal as needed.
- Follows the chain of authority.
- Excepts full responsibility for outcomes of the office he or she manages.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree preferred. In lieu of degree, relevant management and leadership experience will be considered
- Casting/splinting experience preferred
- Prior clinical manager experience is preferred
- Knowledge of insurance, referral management, or medical billing desired
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively withing a self-directed environment
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
WORK ENVIRONMENT: A combination of office and clinical setting. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, biohazards, toxic substances, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to a clinic setting.

Stress can be triggered by workload and complex cases. Occasional stress caused by multitasking, level of responsibility, and workload.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This position may require long hours and possibly weekend work.
