Job Description
Manage inbound calls and digital correspondence requesting initial appointments, re-evaluations, supplementals and depositions.
Creating and distributing procedural documents to internal and external parties as part of intake process.
Confirming via phone and email that patients, interpreters are confirmed for appointments.
Preparation of appointment paperwork and sending via U.S. mail.
Receiving medical records and other required paperwork to verify readiness for appointment.
Communication with physicians, medical assistants, internal departments.
Communication with insurance adjusters, attorneys, and legal support staff to ensure all pre-evaluated paperwork and records have been received.
Tracking and confirmation that all paperwork, records, and external vendors like interpreters are ready for evaluation via internal programs.
Operations:
Troubleshooting issues with appointments on the same date as the appointment, including resolving issues with third parties.
Preparation of billing packages including reports to be mailed to all the appropriate external parties.
Maintaining internal databases and updating tracking spreadsheets as efficiently as possible.
Scanning of documents, preparing postage for mail, taking phone messages, and other clerical duties as needed.
Maintaining a positive and professional representation of Orthopaedic Qualified Medical Evaluators and external parties at all times.

Compensation is based on experience.
