TOC is a well renowned orthopedic practice and has been in business for almost 50 years with subspecialties in trauma, foot and ankle, spine, hand, adult reconstruction, pediatrics, pain management, and sports medicine. The practice is located strategically throughout North Florida and South Georgia with 7 regional offices and two Tallahassee campuses. Ancillary endeavors include on site X-ray, MRI, Physical Therapy, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Urgent Care Centers, and Orthotics and Prosthetics. TOC fields team physicians for Florida State University (FSU), Florida A&M University (FAMU), and Tallahassee Community College (TCC), as well as numerous area high schools. TOC has opened an exciting, new regional office in Panama City.
Full-time position available to supervise daily functions of the clinical support staff, providing guidance in relation to daily activity and operations, working collaboratively with physicians and staff to facilitate patient care and efficiency. Applicant must be able to set priorities, identify and resolve problems effectively and efficiently; have strong interpersonal and customer service skills; excellent communication and organizational skills for managing workflow, follow-up on patient care and anticipating the needs of the patients and physicians; have computer skills to be able to work with EMR and practice management systems.
Associate degree required and at least three (3) years of related medical experience supporting physicians. (Bachelor's Degree and / or three (3) years of supervisory experience in a medical setting preferred.)
Must possess a clinical related certification such as a Certified / Registered Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse or BOC Certified Athletic Trainer. LPN's and ATC's must also have a valid Florida license (or eligible).
