Position Summary : Dispensary Associate Float
The Dispensary Associate Float is responsible for providing coverage for call outs and PTO requests for the Dispensary Associates in Brandon, South Tampa, and Telecom locations. The Dispensary Associate Float will capture and dispense all prescriptions in our formulary for all Work / Comp and Auto cases (with assigned attorney) as ordered by FOI Dispensing providers for patients. The Dispensary Associate Float is responsible for overseeing the Dispensary Refill Program by monitoring reports, providing updates to all Dispensary locations, contacting patients and meeting with Providers to discuss the program.
The Dispensary Associate Float will oversee the Specialty Injection Scheduling queue ensuring that all new, rescheduled, and bumped Viscosupplementation injections are scheduled in a timely manner. They will also monitor all Providers DEA and ME licenses to ensure all Dispensary binders at all locations contain valid license copies.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma required.
- 1-3 years experience working in a pharmacy or dispensing clinic setting with prescription knowledge, or medical assistant experience.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician certification preferred.
