Orthopedic Care Expert
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to provide exceptional support in our Orthopaedic department at Orthopaedic Solutions Management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining patient charts and ensuring all necessary information is available. Additionally, they will retrieve digital films from the Medview system for physician review, maintain adequate stock levels of medical supplies, and escort patients into exam rooms.
Key responsibilities include preparing prescriptions, verifying charge tickets, and returning outside films to patients as instructed by the physician. A High School Diploma and Medical Assistant Diploma or MA Certification are required. Ability to travel to multiple clinic locations in the area is also necessary.
BLS Certification is required within 90 days of employment. Preferred qualifications include suture removal experience, orthopaedic experience, and Athena EMR experience.
