Job Title: Inventory Support Associate
Department: Administration
Reports To: Retail/DME and Facilities Supervisor
FLSA Status: Part-Time
Work Schedule: Variable - Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
We are seeking a highly organized, customer-service oriented, and proactive inventory associate to join our team. This role will play a critical part in supporting the Department Supervisor. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, great interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
Support Management in the following duties:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using newly implemented inventory management software/systems.
Monitor inventory levels, identifying potential stock shortages, and taking appropriate actions to avoid disruptions in supply.
Implement inventory control measures to reduce waste, spoilage, and stock obsolescence.
Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with the system records.
Order Management and Supplies:
Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain positive working relationships with key suppliers.
Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Management:
DME inventory, including tracking, fitting, same/similar, and other options to grow the program.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards for DME.
Collaborate with all providers to meet various DME needs for patients and customers.
Prescription and Retail Sales:
Assist patients/customers in finding products, offering product information, and providing a positive shopping experience.
Process RX and retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our new systems.
Track sales performance and analyze trends to identify opportunities for sales growth.
Partner will all providers to continuously improve our product offerings to ensure sales of items our patients need/want.
Implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance the appearance and appeal of the retail area.
Requirements:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Experience in inventory management, order processing, and/or retail operations.
Proven experience in customer services and sales.
Familiarity with inventory management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Salary : $15
