Full Time Physical Therapy Rehab Technician Position for an Outpatient, Therapist Owned Private Practice

Key Accountabilities
- Transition patients from one exercise to another as indicated by the flowsheet and PT’s direction with the goal of nobody having to wait to move to the next exercise
- Help initiate treatment through addressing familiar exercises on the flowsheet and communicating with PTs
- Supervise patients to ensure safe and proper performance of exercise
- Communicate any questions, progressions, regressions, and treatment responses to any supervised treatments to the treating PT in a timely manner.
- Clean tables/equipment according to the most up to date cleaning protocols
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, such as bikes, treatment tables, exercise mats, weights, and exercise ball
- Ensure all equipment is in working order and document or troubleshoot when it is not.
- Establish rapport with patients to make patients feel cared for and enhance patient communication
- Handle frequently asked questions and objections with confidence, calmness, and sensitivity
- Maintain standards for body language, tone, and verbal language
- Inventory all supplies, including the above as well as cleaning supplies, ultrasound gel, lotions, etc
- Relay supply stock information to RT team leader
- Help keep PTs on schedule by warmly greeting patients in the waiting room and bringing them to the treatment area in a timely fashion OR communicate when a PT is delayed
- Formulate OKRs
- Check in with team leader regularly
- Ensure clean pillow sheets are on pillows before each treatment.
- Ensure dirty linens are placed in their appropriate bins.
- Communicate with our linen vender to assure the timely availability of our linens
- Ensure that chairs, devices, tables, and all supplies are returned to their appropriate locations throughout the day, and at the end of the day.
- Assist the front desk with all duties as needed after all patient care and the above tasks are attended to, such as scheduling, collecting co-pays, checking voicemail, and returning calls.
- Scan patient documents into EMR
- Help the setup of patient reported outcomes and HEPs on KEET software
- Maintain tidiness and sanitation of the clinic equipment throughout the day
- Assist in patient scheduled and ensuring patient have future visits as needed
- Document changes to the flowsheet in the chart as directed by therapist
- Provide feedback on office policies and procedures.
- Provide feedback for updates and upkeep of playbook
- Achieve team benchmarks and objectives
- Escalate information to team leader
- Check in with team leader regularly
- Other duties as directed by the Clinic Manager, team leader, and assistance for physical therapists as needed
