What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Billing Specialist position at Orthopedic and Spine Center?
Orthopaedic and Spine Center is currently looking for individuals to join our revenue cycle team with experience in CPT coding, ICD-10 and HCPCS coding. Orthopaedic medical billing experience is a plus. As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will be integral to the financial operations of our healthcare facility, ensuring accurate billing and collections. Reporting to the Billing Manager, your core responsibilities will include managing unpaid medical claims, utilizing EHR systems, reviewing and appealing unpaid claims, assisting patients with billing questions, and providing estimates to patients prior to treatment. Your premium skills in CPT coding, ICD-10, and HCPCS will be essential for processing claims efficiently. With a focus on medical collections and coding accuracy, you will help maintain the organization’s revenue cycle and contribute to the overall success of our medical billing team. Join us in delivering exceptional billing services in a dynamic healthcare environment. Hours are 8:30am-5:00pm,5 days a week (M-F).
