Responsibilities:
MUST have 3-5 years prior experience obtaining authorizations in a healthcare setting.
Review and obtain insurance authorizations for patient treatments, MRI's, injections, procedures.
Verify patient eligibility and coverage details with insurance providers.
Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any authorization issues or discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of authorizations and follow-up on pending cases
Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement for authorized treatments.
Stay up to date with insurance policies and guidelines to ensure compliance.
Requirements:
MUST have 3-5 years prior experience obtaining authorizations in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of insurance plans, terminology, and authorization processes.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and process information.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
