What you’ll do:
Responsibilities/Duties:
Extensive phone and computer use. Headsets provided upon request.
Incoming phone calls triaging.
Patient appointment scheduling.
Patient registration through EMR/HER.
Patient checkout includes follow up testing scheduling and authorizations.
Processing of Radiology orders and obtaining authorization as requested by providers.
Processing of medication orders and obtaining authorization as requested by providers.
Review/entry of patient preferred pharmacy info.
Provider/patient liaison.
Review of incoming fax queue for pertinent patient items and processing as needed.
Processing disability forms, work notes, medical notes etc. as requested by patients.
Provider schedule management.
Performs additional duties as requested by Management and/or Providers.
Attends regular organizational meetings as requested.
Who you are:
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree preferred.
Ability to use computerized systems and experience with Electronic Medical Records systems.
Must be able to use sound judgment consistently.
Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills.
Must be highly organized and comfortable providing excellent internal and external customer service.
