Our high-volume pain management practice is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. Experience in Orthopedic and Pain Management is a plus. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and healthcare providers to accurately document patient encounters in real-time, ensuring that all medical records are comprehensive and up-to-date. This role is essential in enhancing the efficiency of clinical operations and improving patient care.
Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe medical documentation during patient visits, including history, examination findings, and treatment plans.
- Maintain organized medical records within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Assist healthcare providers by documenting relevant information in the patient's chart, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure all necessary documentation is completed promptly.
- Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to facilitate accurate documentation.
- Support the medical office by managing administrative tasks as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to understand clinical discussions effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices in a clinical setting.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient data entry and management.
- Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy and speed for real-time transcription.

The first three months will be training in-person, in-office (Encino, CA). After 90 days, there will be a possibility of working remotely depending on performance level.
