Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida's state-of-the-art, 36,000 square-foot facility incorporates the latest in leading-edge technology in order to provide optimal care for patients who have bone, joint, muscle and spine problems. Our office includes five Centers of Excellence and a full Physical Therapy and Occupational / Hand Therapy division, which work in close coordination with our physicians to provide non-operative, preoperative, post-operative and preventive care.
Responsibilities :
- Perform radiographic imaging, including fluoroscopy, as ordered by physicians
- Adhere to quality assurance guidelines, utilizing C-arm as required
- Explain testing procedures to patients and review paperwork
- Complete surgeons' operating films and associated paperwork
- Process and develop radiographic films
- Ensure accurate encounter forms, billing, and chart documentation
- Adhere to equipment standards and maintain care protocols
- Schedule patient examinations and order necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and stock of the X-ray department
- Record all incoming and outgoing radiology studies
