the Orthopedic Sports Physical Therapy of Kentucky athletic trainer must have the following skills : Responsibilities:
• Prescribe routine and corrective exercises to strengthen muscles
• Render first aid to injured players, such as artificial respiration, cleaning and bandaging wounds, and applying heat and cold to promote healing
• Communicate with coaches, parents, clinical team, physician team, and expanded healthcare team as needed
• Treat chronic minor injuries and related disabilities to maintain athletes' performance
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Unrestricted Athletic Trainer (ATC) licensure to practice in the state of employment
• 1-2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and training preferred
