- Monday – Friday
- High school graduate or equivalent GED.
- A minimum of one-year proven casting work experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to project a professional, pleasant image while interacting with others.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to handle multiple tasks; self-motivated.
- Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple tasks under stress with frequent interruptions.
- Self-motivated and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Apply/remove casts, braces, splints, and other orthopedic appliances while abiding by Universal Precautions at all times
- Assist providers and medical assistants in clinic area with dressing changes, suture removal, cleaning instruments, injections, etc.
- Demonstrate teamwork by working with other clinic personnel toward a common goal of providing excellent patient care and clinic efficiency.
- Assist patients with changing into shorts/tanks when necessary.
- Assist taking patients to and from x-ray as needed.
- Assist clinical team with cleaning and stocking exam rooms, changing out sharps, and stocking clinical supplies.
- Responsible for ordering medical supplies and DME for assigned location.
- Quickly and efficiently respond to casting/splinting requests using the EMR.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisor or provider.
