What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Insurance Verification Specialist position at Orthotic & Prosthetic Lab, Inc?
Orthotic and Prosthetic Lab Inc. has been in business for over 35 years and specializes in the custom fabrication of braces and prosthetic limbs. We are privately owned and currently have four locations in the Saint Louis Metropolitan area. This position will be located at our Webster Groves Office. *This is NOT a remote position.
The Medical Insurance Verification position primarily entails verifying insurance coverage and benefits for our outer office locations. This position requires someone that is highly motivated, self-sufficient, and has a very close attention to detail. Must be knowledgeable in various Insurance plans and products and know how to obtain coverage and benefits from a multitude of insurance providers. Medical terminology is a plus and previous experience working within the healthcare field is preferred.
Wage compensation will be aligned with work experience.
