- Serve as a liaison between the surgical team and other departments to maintain smooth patient flow.
- Circulating Nurse Duties:
- Prepare the operating room in advance, ensuring all necessary instruments and equipment are available.
- Anticipate the surgical team's needs during the procedure, including assisting the anesthesia team during drug administration.
- Monitor patient status and environment throughout surgery to ensure everything is running smoothly.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner in compliance with facility policies.
- Ensure that all necessary post-surgical documentation is finalized, including patient care notes and surgical details.
- Completion of BSN or ADN program
- Registered Nursing License
- At least 2 years' of Operating Room experience preferred
