OR Aides at OrthoVirginia ensure the Operating Room runs smoothly by maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment. They play a key role in patient care and safety, supporting the surgical team through efficient preparation and turnover of rooms, as well as patient transport. Success in this role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.

Primary Functions & Accountabilities
- Prepare and Maintain Operating Rooms
- Set up preoperative bays, restock linens, supplies, and equipment, and assist with room turnover between surgical cases to ensure smooth transitions and readiness for procedures.
- Support Patient Care
- Assist with patient care while maintaining high standards of privacy, dignity, and comfort.
- Maintain Cleanliness and Sterility
- Clean and disinfect all equipment ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
- Inventory Management
- Replenish and organize supplies throughout the day.
- Collaborate and Communicate
- Work closely with a variety of internal departments and teams while providing high a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Six months of Operating Room Technician experience
- BLS certification
- On-Call, Holiday, and Weekend coverage is required.
