OrthoVirginia is seeking a dedicated and motivated Personal Trainer to join our team. As a Personal Trainer, you will play a crucial role in our Sports Performance and Wellness programs in helping our clients achieve their fitness goals and lead healthier lives.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct personal training and return to sport assessments to understand clients' goals, limitations, and fitness levels
- Assist members interested in purchasing personal training services in finding which training program or package works best for them
- Design personalized workout plans that align with clients' objectives and abilities to meet goals and track progress
- Instruct and guide clients through safe and effective exercise routines in conjunction with their personal goals and physical ability
- Demonstrates superior knowledge on a variety of exercises, exercise techniques and ensure clients maintain correct form
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust workout plans as needed, as well as provide home exercise plans to ensure continued success
- Provide nutritional guidance and educate clients on healthy eating habits
- Maintain a clean and organized workout environment, ensuring equipment is properly sanitized meeting proper safety regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service to past, present and potential clients community
- Lead group exercise classes during the week and on weekends
- Effectively market personal training services to attract new clients, utilizing a diverse range of marketing strategies including social media, networking, and community outreach.
- Retain clients through exceptional customer service, personalized training programs, and ongoing support, fostering long-term relationships and loyalty within the clientele base
- Facilitate effective communication with therapists and doctors to ensure that clients care plans are aligned and executed for best quality care
Required Certifications :
All applicants must provide a current training certification from an accredited program. We accept : CSCS , AFAA, ACSM, ACE, ISSA, NASM, NATA, NESTA, NCSF. We are looking for at least 1 year of training experience, or a Bachelor's of Science degree in Exercise Science or an equivalent field. We also require all our Certified Personal Trainers to have an active CPR / AED certification through the American Red Cross or similar groups.
