  • Position Summary : The Talent Director leads and has overall responsibility for OrthoWorx’s

    talent initiatives, overseeing all projects related to talent development and attraction connected

    to the OrthoWorx mission.

    • Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of materials and displays
    • Primary Responsibilities

    • Program and Project Management : Manage current K-12 talent programs and develop new
    • programs.

    • School Liaison : Collaborate with local schools (K-12) and colleges to educate students on the
    • many careers in orthopedics.

    • Event Planning : Create, design, and lead events for a variety of audiences in the community.
    • Also support events managed by the VP of Operations & Engagement.

    • Teaching : Design, plan, and deliver engaging presentations and hands-on projects with students
    • from K-12.

    • Career Counseling : Coach and counsel students and adults in career options.
    • Data Management : Manage data to support program initiatives
    • Process Improvement : Continuously improve programs and services offered to local schools based
    • on metrics and data analytics.

    • Marketing : Collaborate with OrthoWorx Marketing Manager.
    • Grant Management : Write grant requests, manage grants, and report on grant funding.
    • Budget Management : Develop and manage a detailed budget for talent initiatives, consistent with
    • overall organizational targets.

    • Occasional evening and overnight commitments required for events and conferences.
    • Education

    • A bachelor’s degree is required in an academic discipline related to the essential duties of
    • this position.

      Experience

    • 3 years in education, community engagement, human resources / career services, and / or the
    • orthopedic industry. Combined experience in the orthopedic industry and public school system

      preferred.

      Location and Work Structure

      An office in Warsaw is provided. This position requires attendance at in-person meetings and events

      in Warsaw, Indiana. Outside of required in-person meetings and events, a hybrid schedule with some

      remote work is an option based on the needs of the position, the Talent

      Director’s preference, and the demands of any given project. This position requires a bachelor’s

      degree and the ability to take initiative, manage one’s time and projects through to completion

      through strong self-direction and time management, without the need for daily supervision.
