Director of Nursing (DON)
Fairway View Neighborhoods seeks a Director of Nursing to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 51-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. Each household has a RN Nurse Leader, Household Leader, and other caregivers to provide person-centered care. Our DON plans, coordinates, and manages the nursing department, while maintaining the integrity of the household model. Key Duties:
- Organizes, plans, and participates in the total nursing care of residents and ensures the accuracy of nursing care records
- Develops, establishes and implements procedures for general nursing care and infection control techniques
- Appropriate orientation programs are available for new hires and continuing education is available for nursing home personnel
- Prepares nursing department for state and federal survey to ensure regulations are being met
- Participates in facility/departmental strategic planning, decision making, and completes an annual capital and operating budgets for nursing departments
- Maintains a high-level quality care that is consistent with OAHS/FWV and regulatory standards
Benefits and Pay:
- Full Time, 40 hours per week
- Typical hours are Monday-Friday, on call as needed

Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota RN license
- Minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Minimum 3 years experience in nursing administration or a comparable management position
