Oru Designs USA is a family-owned truck camper manufacturing business based in San Marcos, CA. We’re a small but mighty team building premium outdoor products for people who live for adventure—whether that’s weekend camping trips, cross-country overlanding, or spontaneous road trips. About the Role:
We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator who’s passionate about the outdoors and ready to help us grow. You’ll work closely with our team on everything from content and campaigns to social media and events. If you’re creative, organized, and love wearing multiple hats, you’ll fit right in.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, creating, and executing digital and print marketing campaigns
- Coordinate content production for social media, email newsletters, and the company blog
- Manage the content calendar and schedule regular posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Work with ambassadors and influencers in the outdoor space to generate user content and engagement
- Support event marketing, including expos, product demos, and outdoor festivals
- Track performance metrics across platforms and campaigns and generate basic reports
- Conduct market and competitor research relevant to outdoor and adventure products
- Help maintain and update the website with new content, product launches, and seasonal campaigns
- Ensure consistent brand voice and visuals across all marketing touchpoints
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field
- 2 years of marketing experience, preferably in the outdoor or consumer goods industry
- Strong written and visual communication skills
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube best practices
- Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, Later/Hootsuite, and Google Analytics
- Passion for the outdoors, camping, overlanding, or adventure travel
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible environment with a hands-on, self-starting attitude
Bonus Points:
- Experience working with outdoor lifestyle brands or gear companies
- Photography or video editing skills
- Knowledge of Shopify, Klaviyo, or similar e-commerce tools
- Experience planning or attending outdoor events and expos
Pay Wage
$23-$30 per hour
Wage is commensurate with candidate’s qualifications and related experience.
