About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager, Omni Channel Marketing, to drive growth and innovation across our retailer mix, including Ulta and department stores. This role will be pivotal in shaping and executing marketing strategies across both online and offline platforms, ensuring a consistent brand experience while delivering on sales and visibility objectives. As a senior member of the team, you will lead cross-functional collaboration and take a data-driven approach to optimize performance at every touchpoint of the consumer journey.

In this role, you will be part of an agile, fast-paced beauty brand that values creativity, adaptability, and a deep understanding of the evolving retail landscape. You will work cross-functionally with teams in marketing, merchandising, creative, and operations to ensure our channel strategy is aligned with the overall brand objectives. You will also work with shared services teams (DTC, Amazon) and third-party agencies to deliver consistent and impactful digital experiences that meet and exceed business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Omni-Channel Strategy & Leadership:

    • Develop and execute omni-channel marketing strategies that elevate the brand across key retailer partners, including Ulta and department stores.
    • Own the planning, execution, and optimization of retailer-specific marketing campaigns that align with brand goals and drive business growth across these retail channels.
    • Lead a cross-functional team (Brand Marketing, Sales, Creative, and Operations) to create and refine go-to-market strategies that connect brand objectives with retailer requirements.

Retailer.com & Co-Op Media Partnerships:

    • Oversee and optimize the brand’s presence on retailer.com sites, ensuring product listings, promotions, and customer experiences align with the brand’s standards and goals.
    • Manage co-op media budget, working with retail partners to execute joint marketing campaigns and optimize media spend for maximum visibility and sales.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer teams to ensure product placements, promotions, and digital marketing initiatives are effectively executed.
    • Collaborate with the retailer’s marketing teams to create and deliver co-branded content and campaigns that drive sales and brand awareness.
    • Utilize data and insights to adjust strategies in real-time, ensuring consistent performance across digital and physical touchpoints.

Creative and Content Development:

    • Lead the development of innovative digital content (product pages, banners, videos, social ads) that resonates with consumers while adhering to both brand and retailer guidelines.
    • Partner with creative teams to ensure that all digital assets are tailored for specific retail platforms and optimized for performance.

Retail Partnerships & Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate and manage relationships with key retail partners (Ulta, department stores) acting as the primary point of contact for all marketing and promotional activities.
    • Collaborate closely with retailer marketing teams to design and execute joint promotional programs that enhance brand visibility and drive sales.

 Promotions, Campaigns, & Events:

    • Lead the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital promotions, seasonal initiatives, and exclusive retailer activations.
    • Coordinate with retail partners to execute high-impact in-store and online events that align with product launches and broader brand initiatives.

Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting:

    • Analyze performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and ensure alignment with sales targets and business objectives.
    • Report on the effectiveness of campaigns across all channels, making recommendations for improvement and innovative approaches based on performance data.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Execution:

    • Lead cross-functional teams in executing comprehensive marketing plans that leverage internal expertise and external partner relationships.
    • Align marketing and sales efforts to ensure seamless execution of strategies, with an emphasis on agility and adaptability in an ever-evolving retail environment.

Budget Management:

    • Develop and manage the channel marketing budget, ensuring proper allocation across in-store/retailer.com/co-op media initiatives.
    • Track and report on spending and performance across all digital channels, ensuring campaigns stay on budget while delivering maximum ROI.
    • Analyze performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations to optimize the budget for continued growth and efficiency.
    • Work closely with finance and senior leadership teams to forecast budgets and ensure alignment with business goals.

Agility & Market Adaptation:

    • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and evolving consumer behavior, making real-time adjustments to strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
    • Foster a culture of innovation and agility, continuously adapting strategies to meet shifting market conditions and retailer demands.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in omni-channel marketing, retail marketing, or e-commerce within the beauty or consumer goods industry, with a proven track record of working with major retailers like Ulta and department stores.
  • Expertise in managing complex, multi-channel campaigns and delivering strong ROI across both digital and physical retail environments.
  • Strong understanding of retail media, e-commerce platforms (Ulta.com, department store websites), and digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, paid social, display ads).
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance and adjust strategies based on insights.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to think creatively, innovate, and adapt to a fast-paced, rapidly changing beauty retail environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a fast-paced, agile beauty brand environment.
  • Experience in e-commerce for both DTC and retail channels.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Shopify, Google Analytics, Salesforce, and other CRM or e-commerce management platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for marketing automation and personalization.
