What are the responsibilities and job description for the Install Helper position at Orville's Appliance Inc?
Position Summary:
Primarily responsible for assisting the Installation Lead with the proper installation of all new appliances within designated locations. The Installation Assistant will also load and transport appliances to and from their destinations.
Position Accountabilities:
•Compiling corresponding paperwork for installation requisition.
•Responsible for prepping the appliance prior to installation in order to ensure quality and consistency.
•Assist Lead Installer with the successful installation of all name-brand appliances.
•Ensure cleanliness and safety of all worksites per the Company’s policy and OSHA standards.
•Assist Lead Installer with various hookups (gas line, water line, etc.) and ensure lines are connected properly and safely.
•Any and all other duties as assigned by manager.
Position Education/Experience:
•Experience utilizing basic hand tools.
•High School Diploma OR G.E.D. Equivalent.
Position Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
•Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
•Excellent time management skills and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
•Self-motivated and demonstrated attention to detail.
•Lifting 50-100 lbs. on a regular basis, including prolonged periods of kneeling, bending, crouching, standing and walking.
