Warehouse -Shipping and Receiving Lead

Responsibilities:

·         Complete opening side work checklist for shift daily

·         Maintain cleanliness of all storage areas: dry storage, walk-in cooler, freezers, paper good storage, chemical storage, beverage storage, and any other storage areas

·         Verify all product orders upon delivery, including cross-checking amounts against purchase orders and invoices, and verifying quality of the product itself meets Company standards

·         Inform General Manager of issues with product quality or discrepancies between purchase orders, delivery quantities and/or invoices

·         Record and/or unpack all items received, following procedures specified by the Manager on duty

·         Inform Manager on duty of any product, materials or equipment needs

·         Assist with product inventory to prepare weekly food orders, as needed

·         Maintain positive relations with vendors and delivery personnel

·         Updates knowledge and skills by participating in staff training opportunities

·         Maintains sanitation to Department of Health standards; Keep work area clean and organized

·         Informs General Manager immediately of any DOH or OSHA/workplace safety violations

·         Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible

·         Completes other duties as assigned by the management team
 

Essential Functions:

·         Able to lift 30 pounds

·         Fluent in both written and spoken English

·         Must have basic math skills

·         Communicates information effectively and efficiently

·         Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal direction

·         Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business

·         Ability to walk, stand, and/or bend continuously and for extended periods as required to perform essential job functions

·         Ability to perform essential job functions under pressure, maintains professionalism when working under stress

·         Adherence to company, state, and county sanitation standards

·         Strict adherence to posted schedule and clock in/out at times

·         Perform all other related and compatible duties as assigned by the Management Team

·         Adhere to all HR policies and procedures

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

-      1 year of experience as Receiver or similar caliber concept

-      Driver License

-      Forklift certification
