About The Job
Reporting to the Head, Youth Involvement Research you will:
- Support the establishment and management of a co-design crew and Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG).
- Facilitate co-design work, ensuring meaningful youth participation in decision-making processes.
- Review and prepare research materials through a lived experience lens.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and contributing to research outputs like abstracts and journal articles.
- Collaborate with study investigators, peer researchers, and other team members on various research tasks.
The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
- Relevant qualification in health services research, youth mental health, or gender studies.
- Personal lived experience of mental health challenges and knowledge of youth mental health services.
- Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills with experience in team or project coordination.
- Ability to engage with young people and senior investigators, and work creatively in partnership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, social media, and willingness to undertake basic research tasks.
- $70,000 – $75,000 pro rata 11.5% superannuation $15,900 in NFP salary packaging $2,600 meals and entertainment card.
