About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Roofing Service Foreman to join our team. This role is essential to our operations, as it combines hands-on work with project management and client communication. As a Roofing Service Foreman, you will conduct roof inventories, provide estimates, define exterior building deficiencies, and make minor repairs during RTM visits. You will use our Internal software on your mobile device or tablet to inventory deficiencies on the roof system to create reports of the issues noted. Once the work is approved you will make the repairs from the service truck. This role will have room for advancement in the company as a Service Coordinator or Service Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inventories of commercial roofs, identify exterior building deficiencies, and perform minor repairs during visits.
- Prepare detailed quotes and estimates for projects, ensuring accuracy in scope and cost through CenterPoint Connect.
- Manage incoming field information for projects, ensuring clear and complete communication to relevant team members.
- Define project scope, pricing, and deliverables, collaborating with the sales team for a seamless handoff in company software on dispatched tickets.
- Support larger projects as needed, bringing a keen attention to detail and willingness to mentor and learn.
- Manage and supervise and train for development the technician that rides in the truck as your assistant to ensuring development ,productivity, quality and safety standards.
- Maintain basic inventory for various roof system types to ensure readiness for a range of project and repair needs.
- Make thorough observations of roofs beyond initial issues, reporting any additional concerns.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in commercial roofing, with a strong understanding of various roofing systems and roof inspections.
- Proficiency in CRM software and strong organizational skills for effective project tracking. I.e. CenterPoint Connect roof management software.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions, team coordination, and reporting.
- Proven leadership abilities to manage and support subordinate personnel.
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- 10-hour OSHA or equipment safety certifications
- Sheet metal fabrication knowledge is a plus.
