Position Overview
The Revenue Cycle Trainer delivers in-depth, complex revenue cycle education to new and existing team members. This instruction is completed in a virtual setting. The virtual 1 : 1 training spans a variety of revenue cycle topics with an emphasis on insurance follow up concepts, technologies, and OS inc best practices team members need to know to perform their roles. The Revenue Cycle Trainer is responsible for the development and refinement of training resources and materials and stays up-to-date with industry changes.. Maintains a high level of revenue cycle knowledge in order to provide support to existing revenue cycle team members. Performs and delivers audits to team members ensuring competency in concepts taught and actions taken.
Experience, Education and Professional Qualities
Must have experience working follow up medical claims. Prefer at least 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle billing, claims or a clearinghouse setting.. Experience with both professional and institutional claims. Multiple patient management system experience or the ability to learn applications proficiently. Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial experience desired. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet time sensitive deadlines, and organize workload with general supervision. Must be able to communicate with a variety of contacts at all levels of the organization.
