Role Description
This is a full-time role for an AV Design Engineer at OSA located in Wood Dale, IL, The AV Design Engineer supports the sales team throughout the quoting process providing final design details, guidance to the CAD team for proper / relevant drawings and then briefs an appropriate project handoff / overview to the assigned team project manager.
Qualifications
- CTS (minimum requirement), CTS-D (preferred)
- 3 years' experience in AV technical role
- Knowledge of AV and Architectural drawings
- Knowledge of network infrastructure including setting up LAN's
- Extensive knowledge of Crestron (and other control and switching system) applications
- Extensive knowledge of DSP, conferencing devices, audio conferencing best practices
- Ability to think and work independently and meet necessary deadlines
- Effective interaction with employees, customers, and colleagues
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Teams and general PC based applications
- Ability to read construction drawings and system wiring diagrams
- Occasional after hours and / or travel may be required
