Job Description
The ACS (Airborne Communications Systems) Engineer will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. This role involves providing technical expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced airborne communications systems to support MDA operations. The ACS Engineer will ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and security in alignment with organizational and government standards.

Location : Schriever Space Force Base (SFB), Colorado Springs, CO
Shift : Day shift (Mon-Fri)
Clearance : Secret
Description of Duties :
- Design, implement, and maintain ACS systems, including airborne communication networks and associated technologies.
- Provide engineering support for the integration of communication systems, ensuring alignment with operational and mission requirements.
- Optimize system performance, ensuring availability, reliability, and security of ACS infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues proactively, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement system security measures in accordance with government and organizational standards.
- Manage system installation, upgrades, and patches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ACS systems with organizational objectives.
- Ensure compliance with government security and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for stakeholders and leadership.
Basic Requirements :
HS Diploma (or GED) and 16 years of general experience;
