Description
The Accountant II is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Si-Si A-Pe-Txa’s accounting functions related to federal grants and contracts, and/or tribal programs. This position prepares reports, reconciles accounts, prepares financial statements, and works with Directors on their budgets.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree preferred

At least three (3) years of healthcare accounting experience required

At least three (3) years of healthcare in month end closing, balance sheet reconciliation, accounting experience required

Familiarity with Federal Grant Reporting

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs required

Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation

Requires a high level of problem-solving skills

Must maintain confidentiality at all times

Requires good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
