Description
This position will serve as a clinical social worker (medical and/or psychiatric) and human services professional. Serves as a resource person in clinical social work to other departments and areas on highly complex clinical social work matters. This Position will provide social work services to eligible individuals, families or groups that involve the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of emotional disorders, and mental illness as related to the total health of the client. This individual will work according to social work theory and methods providing services of a psychosocial nature pertaining to personality adjustment, behavior problems, interpersonal dysfunction and deinstitutionalization within the boundaries of competence based on education, training, supervised experience, state and national professional credentials, and appropriate professional experience. THIS POSITION REQUIRES A MASTERS DEGREE IN SOCIAL WORK AND A CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER LICENSE ISSUED BY THE OKLAHOMA STATE BOARD OF LICENSED SOCIAL WORKERS (OSBLSW). Qualifications
- Must possess a master’s degree in social work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and approved by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers
- Requires a Clinical Social Worker License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers (OSBLSW)
- Requires a Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Must possess and maintain certification and training for any assessment that requires it to be administered and interpreted
- Must have two (2) years of experience in social work, mental health and/or substance abuse field
- Must have ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents
- Must have ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquire or complaints
- Must have ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentation on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation
- Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
- Requires a high level of problem solving skills
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times
- Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
- Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
- Must have a clean driving record – may be require to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
