Description
The Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive health care on a daily basis and is expected to provide quality medical care to all patients. The incumbent works independently and on his/her own initiative as a Family Medicine / Practice provider and supports the mission of the facility.
Qualifications
- Requires an active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Oklahoma
- 1-2 years experience preferred
- Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation
- Knowledge of HIPPA and Privacy Act
- Must be able to pass Osage Nation credentials and privileges requirements
- Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
- Requires a high level of problem solving skills
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times
- Requires ability to use Microsoft Office Suite programs
- Requires good interpersonal communication and team work skills
- Requires willingness and ability to learn new skills, including travel to conferences and training sessions
- Must be proficient and competent in primary care office procedures, including skin biopsy
- Must be competent and comfortable in pediatric care
- Required: BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
- Must have a clean driving record may be required to drive GSA or Osage Nation vehicles
