Brokerage Operations Opportunity in Financial Services
Equity Trader

10 Exchange Place, Jersey City, NJ 07302
Role Type: Full-time
Summary:
We are seeking an intelligent, motivated individual to fill a position on the network's Equity & Options Trade desk as an equity and options operation's trader. Knowledge of Pershing, NFS or any wealth management trading platform a plus. We will train the right candidate. Series 7 license required.
Responsibilities:
Service the trading needs of representatives for the Osaic Advisor Network
Process and facilitate equity & option transactions from representatives
Field inquiries regarding general knowledge of securities, industry, policies, quotes, and fees
Diligently process trade errors for firm and representatives
Timely review of transactions for alignment with market and firm guidelines
Prioritize information that needs immediate attention
Ensure timely follow-up concerning all issues and inquiries
Other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred, H.S. Diploma or GED certificate significant practical experience will be considered
Basic Requirements:
FINRA Series 7 is required
1 years relevant working experience is required
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn quickly and operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
Computer skills with an aptitude for troubleshooting
Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail with ability to prioritize and multi-task
All other duties as assigned
Preferred Requirements:
2 or more years of financial services experience is preferred
