Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent guest services while monitoring pool activities and performing necessary maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests and participants.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Provide immediate first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Conduct regular pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical testing.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform heavy lifting as required for equipment setup or maintenance tasks.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding any safety concerns or incidents.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in lifeguarding are a plus.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if needed.
- Experience in guest services is advantageous for enhancing the visitor experience.
- Familiarity with pool maintenance procedures is beneficial for ensuring facility upkeep.
