What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Administrator position at Osawatomie Unified School?
At Osawatomie Unified School, we are seeking an experienced Financial Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our school district.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, including preparing and entering invoices into our system, maintaining vendor files, and monitoring district credit/charge card balances. Additionally, you will prepare board reports for all expenditures, reconcile authorized accounts, and assist with financial and KSDE audits.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Applications is a must, as well as experience with basic accounting software or employee information systems. Skyward technology systems experience is preferred but not required.
