What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Certification Associate position at OSC Edge?
As Quality Certification Associate for OSC Edge, with Federal Government contracting experience, the individual will be responsible for supporting and administering the overall procedures for the Quality function as well as focusing on continuous improvement throughout the organization. In this role, the Quality Certification Associate will support and execute strategies and solutions at the Corporate and Project levels to advance organizational maturity.
Responsibilities
- Support, maintain and execute established Quality Management program policies and processes
- Support efforts to maintain the current and future Capability Maturity Management Integrated (CMMI) program for the organization
- Support efforts to maintain the current and future International Standards Organization (ISO) program for the organization
- Support internal Quality Training initiatives
- Support and maintain all Quality related artifacts as necessary to maintain and obtain ongoing and reoccurring Quality program certifications, i.e. CMMI appraisals and ISO annual audits.
- Support audits of systems and processes IAW standard/certification requirements
- Performs other tasks as required by OSC Edge and the Government contracting office
- Work in alliance with Project and Program managers to support and execute quality methodology and compliance standards, as well as, creation and collection of project quality related documentation
- Assist and support ongoing pursuit of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certificate CMMC
Required Qualifications/Education and Experience
- Minimum of a BS or BA. Preferably in Business or Information Technology
- Experience and knowledge of Government contracting
- Be familiar with the CMMI Model and have experience supporting an organization with a Level III Services certification
- Be familiar with the ISO Standards (9001, 20000, 27001) and have experience supporting an organization that has held an ISO certification
- Technically knowledgeable and capable with using Microsoft 365 products, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, and TEAMS / Sharepoint
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft file and filing systems in TEAMS and SharePoint
