About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Data Engineer to join our team. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our data management and analytics capabilities. You will leverage your expertise in AWS services to design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement data pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, RDS, SNS, and SQS.
- Utilize data engineering tools like EMR, Glue, and Redshift to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Develop and maintain high-performance data warehouses and data marts using technologies like Redshift and PostgreSQL.
- Implement data modeling techniques, including Star / Snowflake schemas, to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Leverage Python and PySpark for data manipulation, processing, and analysis.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis.
- Ensure data quality and governance throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
