The Role:
We're searching for a talented and passionate AWS Data Engineer to join our high-performing data team. You'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable data pipelines that power our business decisions.
What You'll Do:
- Build Cutting-Edge Data Pipelines: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS services like S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, RDS, SNS, and SQS.
- Unlock Data Insights: Leverage data engineering tools like EMR, Glue, and Redshift to transform raw data into valuable insights.
- Optimize Data Performance: Optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing for maximum performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver impactful solutions.
- Ensure Data Quality: Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously learn and adapt to the latest advancements in data engineering technologies and best practices.
What You'll Bring:
- AWS Expertise: Strong proficiency with AWS services, including S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, Step Functions, RDS, SNS, and SQS.
- Data Engineering Mastery: 4 years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in SQL and Redshift stored procedures.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with data engineering tools (EMR, Glue, Redshift), data modeling (Star/Snowflake), Python/PySpark, and databases (PostgreSQL, Aurora).
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data governance, and best practices.
- Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
